Peter crowned Western Cape champ

In the battle for the Western Cape Junior Flyweight Title, Asavela Peter, from Future Champs in Philippi, reigned victorious.

The 20-year-old Peter got the better of Simamkele Finini, from Imizamo Yethu Boxing Gym in Harare, via a split decision, in Wynberg, on Monday, December 9.

The win moves Peter to five wins and one loss, while Finini drops to one win and four losses.
