South African media personality Anele Mdoda is in relax mode enjoying the island life with her son, Alakhe.
The television and radio presenter took to social media platform, Instagram, to share pictures of her and her son on a family vacation in Mauritius.
The Indian Ocean island destination is known for its beaches, lagoons and reefs while its mountainous interior includes Black River Gorges National Park, with rainforests, waterfalls, hiking trails and wildlife like the flying fox making it the perfect escape for a holiday.
It is also a four-hour flight from Johannesburg, making it a popular destination for South Africans.
Mdoda and Alakhe are on the island celebrating Alakhe’s 9th birthday and are staying at the all-inclusive luxury hotel and resort, LUX Bell Mare.

In one of the pictures shared on Instagram, Mdoda and Alakhe share a cute mother and son moment embracing on a yacht. She wears a black bathing suite and a white elegant cover up.
Of course, Instagram users shared well wishes for the pair and this is what they had to say.
