Eben Supply and Wayne Parnell drop their second limited-edition collection
Eben Supply, a proudly South African clothing brand known for its commitment to local craftsmanship, is thrilled to announce the launch of its second collection in collaboration with globally renowned cricketer, Wayne Parnell. The volume II collection blends high fashion with street wear essentials while embodying the dynamic spirit of sport and lifestyle.
The relationship between Wayne Parnell and Eben Supply’s founder, Ebraheem Davids, began through their shared love for fashion 10 years ago - when the Eben Supply brand was first launched. Over the years, their friendship has grown as much as their mutual passion for style and culture. A collaboration was always on the cards and in 2023 they dealt a notable hand with their first capsule of apparel pieces.
With the Eben x Parny vol. II collection, Wayne Parnell’s journey and travels as an international cricket star inspire elements of athleticism, versatility, and contemporary style. Paying homage to the countries that cricket has taken him, the collection incorporates unique designs that reflect his time on the global stage.
Rooted in the ethos of being "from the ghetto to the globe," the collection represents resilience, ambition, and the ability to transcend boundaries through style and sport. Designed for individuals who appreciate fashion that moves with them, the collection features premium fabrics.

GQ had a chat with Wayne Parnell and Ebraheem Davids about the limited-edition collection.
GQ: Which city in the world has had the most influence in your personal style journey ?
Wayne Parnell: I’ve tried to take a little bit from each country I’ve visited using my South African roots as my base, then just experimenting as I go along.
GQ: The collection includes a lot of staples and basics in the men’s wardrobe, but each with a little twist. Describe the design approach to these pieces.
Wayne Parnell: The Eben Supply brand at its core is a very minimalist and clean brand but with this collection we added some colour and probably experimented with pieces you wouldn’t usually see within the brand. We wanted the “basics” feel but also have it a bit more elevated.
GQ: Which piece do you find yourself pulling for more?
Wayne Parnell: The cropped striped shirt is my favourite because it’s so versatile, you can dress it up and dress it down. I’m big on versatility within my wardrobe.
GQ: If you had to put them side by side, how would you say drop 2 has evolved from the collection of items in drop 1?
Wayne Parnell: Ghetto to the Globe first collection was really a baby starting to crawl, but Vol 2 you will certainly see the progressing from crawling to walking, we pushed the boundaries a little with this collection.
GQ: As an athlete and considering the gradual rise of personal style expression amongst local athletes, were they (fellow athletes) part of your thought process at all in the creative process?
Wayne Parnell: No, but we hope that athletes will continue to support the brand like they have been doing and this is also a collection where they can kind of step out of their normal everyday wear, but still cop a tee, vest or hat if they just want to be simple. We really don’t want to limit or exclude anyone. Male, female, young and old. There’s something for everyone.
GQ: What kind of success did you see with volume that made you want to connect with Wayne again for this new collection?
Ebraheem Davids: There were quite a few things that we realised when we dropped the first collection. The first one being how quick we managed to sell out. We then had to restock because of the demand for the items.
We knew that we had something special on our hands, not only because of the demand for the collection, but also the response of how people loved the quality of it. I think for both of us we knew that we needed to tap into another collection. Take what we learned from this first one and take it a notch up with this current one.
GQ: How would you say Wayne’s stylistic input carved a path for this enriching collaboration?
Ebraheem Davids: Ever since I’ve known Wayne his been up to date when it comes to fashion, different styles and ideas from around the globe. His fashion sense and forward thinking made this so much easier for us.
