Proteas batter Aiden Markram has passed his fitness test and is available for selection against New Zealand.

The Proteas have received a major boost ahead of their ICC Champions Trophy semifinal against New Zealand in Lahore after Aiden Markram passed his fitness test at training on Tuesday.
Markram had been suffering from a tight hamstring sustained in the final group match against England last Saturday.
The vice-captain, who was standing in for the injured Temba Bavuma, left the field during England’s innings and did not return to the field.
The Proteas were concerned enough about Markram’s injury to fly over Western Province allrounder George Linde as an official reserve. Linde was due to arrive in Pakistan on Tuesday evening.
Bavuma has also recovered from his illness and will take his place at the toss at the Gaddafi Stadium. Fellow opening batter Tony de Zorzi, who also missed the England game, is also seemingly well on the road to recovery.
“I'm feeling a lot better. I'll be training today (Tuesday),” Bavuma said.
“Tony [de Zorzi] as well, he's looking a lot better. But yeah, we're quite hopeful in terms of the guys that we have.”
