Box carts keep it rolling in Bo-Kaap

Light work for the Bo-Kaap Bokke.

More than 22 000 spectators packed the colourful streets of Bo-Kaap to witness the return of the Red Bull Box Cart on Sunday morning.

Potjie Boytjies, from Stellenbosch, were crowned the winners.

The judging panel included musicians Courtnaé Paul and Nasty C; international German racer and half of the Red Bull Drift Brothers Team, Elias Hountondji; 2009 Dakar Rally winner and Red Bull athlete Giniel De Villiers; “vibe bringer” Smech Precious; and DHL Stormers hooker Siyabonga Ntubeni.
