Rondebosch Boys' matriculant Ryan Dellbridge and coach Junaid Jacobs have been selected to represent South Africa, in Canada next month.

The rowers will compete against the world’s best at the Royal Canadian Henley Rowing Course, in Ontario.

After a three-month selection process, 23 athletes -12 girls and 11 boys - were selected for a variety of events. Ryan, along with his rowing partner, Robert Hirschson (SACS matriculant), were selected to row in the under-19 junior men’s double race, coached by Jacobs. They were the only two Western Cape rowers to be selected.
