Year-end boxing bill to wow local fans

Boxing Promoter and owner of Fight Arts Promotions, Russel Bindeman, has put Kimberley’s Flamingo Casino under lockdown for November 12 to clear the stage to host his year-end tournament dubbed ‘The Come Back’ for pugilists from all over the country.

Bindeman, who is generally regarded as an elder statesman of the sport, was by this week still bustling to finalise the fight bill for the tournament.

The promoter was a guest at ringside earlier this year when Moroke Boxing Promotions staged its maiden boxing tournament bill dubbed ‘Ready to Rumble’ at Galeshewe’s Recreation hall in late August.

Bindeman himself successfully pulled off this year’s first professional boxing tournament which he staged at the Flamingo Casino in Kimberley earlier in June. He would not allow speculation as to who was likely to head up his boxing extravaganza in Kimberley saying curtly that he will release his fight bill later in the week.
