Women’s walk

The Humanity Walk, organised by Woman Zone to mark Women’s Day on Tuesday August 9, was part of the Women’s Festival at the Artscape Theatre. Walkers went from the Iziko Slave Lodge to the Artscape Theatre to mark 60 years since women marched to the Union Buildings, in Pretoria, to protest against apartheid’s pass laws.
