Sea Points SAPS made six arrests for drug possession during a vehicle check point conducted on Green Point Main Road last Thursday.
Drugs including Mandrax, cocaine and ecstasy were found during searches.
Another three suspects were arrested for possession of drugs while members were busy with their normal crime prevention duties, according to SAPS station commander, captain Cyril Dicks.
All suspects were due to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court on Monday January 24.
