Share your family recipes in community cookbook

Published

The kitchens of Cape Town are alive with flavour, history, and heart, and now those treasured family recipes could take centre stage in a brand-new community recipe collection.

Flavours of Cape Town, a Cape Community Media initiative, is inviting home cooks from across its communities to submit their most loved family recipes for a chance to be featured in a beautiful coffee table-style recipe book celebrating the city's rich and diverse culinary heritage.

From Cape Malay favourites and spicy Indian curries, to classic Afrikaans bakes and modern-day twists, the competition is open to all dishes that tell a story and celebrate the taste of Cape Town.

Do you have a winning family recipe such as bobotie or Malay curry? Submit it to info.acm@acm.co.za to enter the Flavours of Cape Town competition and stand a chance to have your dish featured in a special community recipe book.
