Cape Town Tourism (CTT) bagged three silver awards at the International Tourism Film Festival Africa 2025.
A film production company showcased the Mother City's storytelling, soul, and cinematic flair, with its people and incredible scenery for the wild adventures to be enjoyed.
The winning videos demonstrated Cape Town's movie magic, the full of heart, hustle, and serious visual flair in the "Pass the Love with DHL Stormers and Love Cape Town", a feel-good celebration of rugby, community spirit, and local pride; "Wonder2Wonder", all about the city’s magical contrasts and unexpected moments, together with "Visit Victoria Falls"; and "Limitless Cape Town", a high-energy visual journey showing that in Cape Town, adventure knows no bounds, and magical memories can be created without limits.

Cape Town Tourism chief executive officer Enver Duminy said the wins show the hard work and dedication behind Cape Town's tourism success.
“These awards aren’t about shiny trophies on display; they reflect how we see Cape Town - layered, lively, and full of love. Each video is a postcard to the world, saying, ‘You’ve got to experience this for yourself.’ It’s an honour to be recognised on an international stage, and even more rewarding to know we’re connecting with people through these stories," he said.
James Vos, mayoral committee member for Economic Growth, said the global acknowledgement was not just a boost for tourism but also the city's economy.
“When our stories travel, so do travellers, and that means jobs, investment, and opportunity for Capetonians.
"These awards are proof that marketing Cape Town with heart and creativity works. We’re doing more than showcasing a destination, we’re building an economy powered by tourism," he said.
The ITFFA celebrates excellence in tourism storytelling across Africa, spotlighting destinations that know how to turn the lens on their local gems, and Cape Town knows how to work a camera.
