Table Bay police are looking for three women and a man, believed to be involved in jewellery theft, which took place at a store at the V&A Waterfront.

In a statement, police said that on Saturday February 22, at around 1pm, the women and man entered the jewellery store at the Alfred Mall at the Waterfront.
It was reported that they enquired about the products in store and asked to take a look at the jewellery. One of the women fitted on a pendant, after which they left the store. A few minutes later, they returned to the store while the shop assistant packed the jewellery away, and asked to see the pendant again. After the shop assistant helped them, they left the store again.

After some time, the shop assistant noticed that two rings and a pendant to the value of R1 35 million were missing from the cabinet. He alerted security, but they had already left the Waterfront.
Anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of these people are asked to contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant officer Abrahams, on 082 522 2572 or call Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
