The bar has been raised for what's to be expected at this year’s Cape Town Street Parade following the weekend’s vibrant festivities at the 2024 annual Voorsmakie at Kenilworth raceourse.
Teams from across the city brought their A-game, debuting their latest apparel for the new season and proudly showcasing the skills and routines they've been thoroughly preparing over the past few months.
The Voorsmakie, a key prelude to the iconic street parade, highlighted the unmatched energy and passion of the Kaapse Klopse, with this year's participants going all out in their performances. Nothing captures the spirit of the festive season quite like the Kaapse Klopse, and with this electrifying preview, anticipation is now at an all-time high for the main event.
