Simon's Town School matric pupil Amanda Blose received the 2024 Abraham Dirkse Leadership Excellence Award at the school’s valedictory ceremony on Friday October 11. Previously known as the Melvin Dirkse Leadership Excellence Award, this is the tenth year that it has been presented. Amanda is pictured with Melvin Dirkse, the custodian of the award, which he renamed to honour his father, who died in 2022.
