Beyoncé’s fans simply love it when she keeps things real. Her latest haircare video shows how she takes care of her natural hair.
In the video you see the mega-star sitting in a salon chair telling her fans “Hey y’all, it’s my Cécred Sunday wash day” before she goes into her full hair routine.
She starts her routine with the Cécred shampoo and scalp scrub and explains how she goes about doing it.
“I take my time and apply to my scalp in sections because I want to make sure it gets in there really good. Especially on those edges.”
Next, she goes in with the hydrating shampoo, which is applied in sections as well.
“Look at that lather,” she says.
“Notice how I’m keeping the hair straight, parting it into sections, and shampooing one section at a time. That’s one of my secrets.
“No matting or tangling. Please pause it, flip it, and reverse it. Get into those strands coming out of those hair follicles.”
After the deep cleanse, the mom-of-three conditions and then styles her hair into a simple bun with minimal product and then gives viewers a really close look at her natural hair.
She then shows how she simply styles her hair into a top bun after she does a basic blow dry - not using a flat-iron.
“She ain’t perfect, but she’s squeaky clean,” she says at the end of the video. “Is she Cécred? I think she’s Cécred.”
Throughout the video she makes sure to show many closeup shots of her hair so that people can see that it’s her own hair.
The Grammy Award-winning singer released her hair care line in February this year.
