Man Crush Monday: Hollywood’s rising star, Aaron Pierre
If he’s not winning hearts with his exotic looks and unique features he is climbing the box office one movie at a time. Aaron Pierre first came to our radar in the American historical drama hit series ‘The Underground Railroad’ where he played a supportive role alongside our home girl Thuso Mbedu. However his stardom did not blow up until he starred in the crime thriller film ‘Rebel Ridge’ released on Netflix in 2024.
It only took one line ‘Nah’ and the internet went into a craze over him. In the movie , Pierre plays the leading character of Terry Richmond, a former marine who confronts corruption in his small town and takes down a whole police department.
Besides his obvious killer looks Aaron is an incredible actor who has showcased his talents in numerous projects, such as his recent voicing of the iconic Mufasa from The Lion King. His portfolio includes a list of groundbreaking roles such as his portrayal of Malcom X in GENIUS, a powerful performance that left a lasting impression on critics.
