Barbie is in her revival era! As one of the hottest films of the year teeters close to release, the ‘Barbiecore’ trend has infiltrated almost every facet of the digital, fashion, and beauty sphere - having all of us embrace our inner ‘it girl’ (with a little help from Nicki, Kendall, Kim and the crew).
On Sunday, the real life Barbie and Ken, played by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling showed up in style to the official Barbie World premiere in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
Also in attendance was the film’s full cast including Issa Rae, Dua Lipa, Hari Nef, and more, who star as different versions of Barbie, as well as some ‘human characters’ played by A-listers like America Ferrera, Helen Mirren and Will Ferrell, to name a few.
For the star-studded event, a parade of pretty and pink looks made its way down the carpet, with looks from designers like Schiaparelli, Bottega Veneta and Alaïa, as well as a few vintage Barbie references thrown into the mix.

The real life Ken wore a pastel pink Gucci suit.
The film’s Mermaid Barbie looked stunning in a custom Bottega Veneta fishnet dress.
