Wordsmiths exhibit their skills

■ The Friends of Central Library Poetry Slam takes place on Saturday April 28, at 2.30pm at the library’s arena. Jolyn Phillips will be the guest poet at this event. There will be an open mic session to reflect and share thoughts and poems on Freedom Day, which will be celebrated, tomorrow, April 27. Refreshments will be served.
