The ComUnity event brought Cape Town’s creative spirit to life on Reconciliation Day, 16 December, as urban youth gathered at The Old Biscuit Mill for a vibrant celebration of music, fashion, and food.
The iconic venue transformed into a buzzing cultural hub, featuring two entertainment stages, a street market, and an independent label fair.
The festival provided a platform for Cape Town’s young creatives to shine while uniting attendees in a shared celebration of the city’s diversity.
Music took centre stage, with performances that had the crowd dancing well into the night.
Musa Keys’ amapiano beats were a standout, while Felo Le Tee and Sir Ngent L wowed audiences with their genre-defining sounds.
Local favourites YoungstaCPT and 25K, alongside emerging acts like The Qwellers and Internet Athi, added to the electrifying atmosphere.
Adding to the experience was Jack Daniel’s, with a stylish setup that featured a red carpet and a 360-degree photo booth.
People queued to capture their best moments while enjoying the brand’s popular drink Jack Daniel’s mixed with Coca-Cola which perfectly suited the day.
The rich, smooth flavour of the whiskey blended easily with the sweet fizz of Coca-Cola, adding to the lively festival vibe.
