Violinist Jeffery Armstrong will perform Mozart’s Piano Quartet in G minor K478 and Fauré’s Piano Quartet No. 1 in C minor Op.15 at Cape Chamber Music Collective (CCMC) concerts across the city.
He will be joined by chamber musicians, François du Toit, Petrus Coetzee and Graham du Plessis.
Armstrong is currently studying for a soloists diploma at the Hochschule for Music, Theatre and Media in Germany. Recent highlights are being appointed as an academist with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and recording three unpublished duos by York Bowen for violin and viola with Yue Yu under the Naxos label. Jeffrey is also a director of the Cape Chamber Music Collective.
Concerts will take place on:
- Friday June 2 at 6 Spin Street, Cape Town city centre, at 7pm. Tickets cost R160, or R120 for pensioners and R80 for student tickets at the door. Free glass of wine included.
- Saturday June 3 at Talani, Helderberg Village, Somerset West, at 4pm. Tickets cost R160.
- Sunday June 4 at Erin Hall, 8 Erin Road, Rondebosch, at 3pm. Tickets cost R160 or R120 for pensioners and R80 for student tickets at the door. Free glass of wine included.
- Thursday June 8 at Olympia Bakery, 134 Main Road, Kalk Bay, at 8pm. Tickets cost R200.
