Mzansi’s podcasting scene is booming with more celebs jumping onto the trend. Unathi Nkayi is the latest personality to join the space.
The former “Idols SA” judge is getting ready to drop her very own podcast called “A Safe Space with Unathi”, or “A.S.S. with Unathi” for short. Known for keeping it real, Nkayi promises to bring those same vibes to her new platform, where she’ll be hosting deep and honest conversations.
Nkayi has worn many hats throughout her career – from being a successful singer, dropping albums, to being a radio host and, of course, her long stint as a judge on Idols SA.
Now she’s joining other well-known podcasters like MacG from “Podcast and Chill,” Sol Phenduka, DJ Sbu, Lebo Keswa and even Ntsiki Mazwai with “The Ntsiki Mazwai Show.”
Let’s not forget Mpoomy Ledwaba and her “Wisdom & Wellness Podcast”, proving that the podcasting world is the next big thing for Mzansi stars.
With so many local personalities hopping on the mic, Nkayi is ready to make her mark with her podcast.
In a recent Instagram post, Nkayi shared how emotional she felt when her son posted a photo of them together on Heritage Day.
In her caption, she wrote: “My son posting this made me VERY emotional. He and my nephews have agreed to come onto my podcast to talk about it coz WOAW – YES🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Podcast COMING SOON – A.S.S. with Unathi – A Safe Space with Unathi.”
Her followers were immediately hyped to see her create a space where real talk and open conversations can go down.
With her son and nephews already on the guest list for the first few episodes, it’s clear that the media personality’s podcast will kick off with a personal touch, featuring the people closest to her.
