The family-friendly festive performance, A Summer Dream, will show at Spier Amphitheatre for the first time from Friday December 12 to Sunday December 14 at 7.30pm

The production, directed by Brett Bailey, follows a band of characters who discover the power of imagination in a dreamlike world.

The show features a troupe of masked dancers, actors and musicians joined by moths, sheep, alligators, unicorns and the occasional human being.

“It’s like being inside a music video about a dream,” said Mr Bailey, “or a dream about a music video - under the stars, with an incredible soundtrack.”

The creative team includes choreographer Natalie Fisher, with movement and mask work by Jayne Batzofin, costume design by Mr Bailey and Enrique de Villiers, and lighting by Lize-Marie Wait.

Tickets cost from R70 to R500 through Webtickets with all details available on the booking platform, and advance booking is highly recommended.
