It’s hard to understand why the mix of pedestrians and bicycles/scooters on the Sea Point promenade remains a problem.

All over the world one finds lanes demarcated for pedestrians and wheels next to each other. See my photos from Lisbon. The space on the Sea Point promenade is more than wide enough. Why can’t the same be done here?
