Unbeaten Glenthorn A on a winning streak

Glenthorn A's are the side to beat in this season's Cape Town Softball Major League softball. They comfortably sit at the top of the standings with a 100% win record after six rounds.

They were in rampant mood, defeating Panthers 17-7, at the weekend, at Turfhall, . Not only is Glenthorn sitting at the top, but they are racking up the most runs having made it to the home plate 72 times, 14 times more than second placed Falcons.

Falcons also had a big win at the weekend, with a 10-3 scoreline against Tantasport. The weekend win was the side's fourth in their six games this season, while keeping Tantasport to a single win in their six games.

Lavender Hill who for a long time were the team that set the pace, went down 5-2 to Westridge Yankees . After six rounds Lavender Hill sits fourth in the six team league having won three and lost three of their games. Their record is similar to that of Yankees.
